House of dagmar - basic's refineness

January 31, 2017 / Category: Fashion

I have always been a big fan of scandinavian minimalism and their timeless simplicity when it comes to design and fashion. It seems that their credo is rather more dressing down than dressing up. Not trying too hard just brings an effortless touch to the style while still being able to look good on point. Having said that the three Dagmar sisters, Kristina Tjäder, Sofia Wallenstam and Karin Söderlind proved this point once and for all. Showing their new autumn collection in Stockholm two days ago, they presented elegant and comfortable basics with this certain twist of cut-outs and overlays you definitely get cravings from. The natural colour palettes of brown, grey, nude and khaki being loosened up with an exciting dab of red, perfectly fit into the location of a concrete spiral staircase which functioned as a runway. It's definitely one way to keep your models fit. All in all it was the perfect contemporary fitting for a today's self-confidential women who still wants to keep her feminin touch.
